Abstract
Aim: This paper examines the potential of blended learning (BL) in fostering a positive attitude towards biology among students.
Background: A noticeable decline in students’ interest in biology has been attributed to monotonous, lecture-dominated classroom practices. While conventional teaching and purely e-learning approaches both have limitations, BL offers a balanced alternative that integrates the strengths of both. Understanding its effectiveness in shaping positive attitudes towards biology is crucial.
Study Design: This review-based study critically analyses 15 peer-reviewed research articles to explore the impact of BL on students’ attitudes.
Conclusion:The review indicates that BL can significantly enhance students’ attitudes towards biology, making the subject more engaging and approachable.
Keywords: Biology, Attitude towards Biology, Blended Learning
