Challenges of Starting a Small Business in Jordan

Purpose
The primary objective of the study is to investigate the influence of selected challenges on the perceived success of entrepreneurship in Jordan.
Design/Methodology/Approach
The study was conducted using focus groups to identify the challenges that limit entrepreneurship in the study areas.
Findings
The government should create entrepreneurial activities for entrepreneurs who want to start businesses by financing them and offering training and education on how to start a business and how to run them.
Research Limitations/Implications
The study only focused on entrepreneurs in a specific geographical area. The results may not be generalised to the whole population.
Theoretical Implications of the Study
This study will provide information to help stakeholders to advance the development of entrepreneurs in Jordan.
Originality and Value
The findings will help in identifying issues that need to be addressed in order to create a more conducive environment for the development of successful entrepreneurs, who will be better prepared by understanding the business environment and the challenges they are likely to encounter.
