Vision and mission statements prepared by enterprises nowadays are often considered to be inspirational statements for both the employees and the general public. They are often short to make an impact.
A vision statement describes an enterprise's aspirations and where it wants to be in society.
A mission statement describes what an enterprise does and its main purpose.
