Abstract
E-learning, or electronic learning, has become a prominent topic within education and training over the past decades. With quickly advancing technologies the options for integrating technology into training and development has become extensive and continues to grow. This primer will highlight the beginnings and current phenomena of e-learning, while focusing on its different forms, benefits and drawbacks, as well as its integration and effectiveness in the workplace.
